Necklace (similar): Zara | Watch: Daniel Wellington
I’m
a firm believer in dressing the part. I’m not saying change your identity and
what you wear for every occasion (it's imperative that you remain yourself)
but when it comes to professional situations I feel as though you definitely need
to dress accordingly. When I interviewed at Urban Outfitters I dressed in
leather culottes, stripped cropped tee, bright New Balance trainers and enough
jewellery to open a market stand but hey, it helped get me the job. Admittedly this is
the kind of thing I wear on a daily basis anyway but as a brand that is far
from formal it fitted with their brand outlook and aesthetic. The woman who
interviewed me said ‘your outfit looks awesome’ and what’s more of a compliment
than that?
Admittedly, this outfit couldn’t scream ‘office wear’ any more if it tried. However, when you’re due to have an interview for an established company then you’ve got to look as professional as possible. In terms of the establishment itself, it is important, thriving and reputable so when I was figuring out what to wear for my interview on Wednesday, I know I needed to look conservative, smart and polished.
This was the outfit I have decided to pull together for the interview so I thought I’d share it with you. I wanted to stay away from the standard white shirt pencil skirt thing- even in a serious role I’ve still got to feel comfortable and like myself- and considering I usually live in jumpsuits this felt like a perfect option. The nipped in waist gives the outfit a bit of shape and the soft fabric and shirt style cut ensures it looks smart and professional. In terms of accessories I’ve kept it relatively simple, with the odd silver ring and my Daniel Wellington watch, but also added a bit of colour with this statement necklace from Zara. Navy is such a great alternative to black and I’ve teamed it with nude and brown-based accessories including my long line camel coat, pointed court shoes and Mulberry bag. I think a classic office look is a great pair of court shoes and a sturdy bag and when I wear these items together it does automatically make me feel like I’m ready for business and to kick ass.
Got an interview coming up soon but not sure what to wear? When in doubt stick to classic clean cut tailoring. Pick up a jumpsuit that’s similar to the one I picked out, or try tucking in a crisp shirt into some premium wide legged trousers if you wanted to stay away from a skirt. I think its also important to add a pop of colour into the outfit if you’re sticking to more classic office colours, for example, try a bright coral coloured court shoe or a bright necklace to add a bit of detail. You want to be remembered so it’s these little details that will help ensure you won’t be forgotten. Don’t forget to bring a spare copy of your CV in your bag, a notepad for any last minute notes and a few makeup essentials for any necessary top ups you need to sort out before your interview!
I hope if you’ve got an interview coming up soon you’ve been inspired or I’ve helped you to think about some staple pieces you could add to your wardrobe that would be perfect for your work wear/smart wardrobe. I’ll keep you updated on the job and whether I’ve been successful or not- I’m nervous already! Wish me luck and to anyone interviewing soon I’m sending you good luck brainwaves- go and show them how amazing you are!

Admittedly, this is a bit of a different post today. But I guess having my own corner on the big wide web means I'm entitled to use my own space how I like so I feel like I need to let off some steam. I'm feeling a bit frustrated with others' opinions on what I do and what I'm like just because I work within a creative sector. Before I start I would like to just say I know this isn't everyones thoughts- plenty think the exact same as me and don't agree with the things mentioned- and I am thankful for anyone who is in agreement! Anyway, let me explain... Fashion in terms of stereoypes,
has always had a bit of a bad rep. Maybe this was because the 'Devil Wears Prada' tainted some assumptions or people have always thought we just gossip amongst
ourselves and walk around in high heels all day. At times, even at university when I was
asked what degree I was doing, I could see people think ‘oh god, not
another one’ when I told them I was working within Fashion. Alongside reading
some highly irritating articles online about stereotypical fashion employees,
I’ve decided to bring some clarity about how we’re actually the polar opposite
of what people think we are.
‘People
who work in Fashion are so bitchy’
I
think this is the main point that frustrates me. Within Fashion, or any
position whatsoever, that just doesn’t go. A key ingredient for surviving
within a creative industry is all about networking. Realistically,
if I was an absolute horror to work with by being rude or unhelpful, you can
bet I won’t be asked to work with that company or individual again. I’ve
had the pleasure of working with a few companies so far and there was not a
single person who was an absolute dragon and was there to make my life hell.
They want the best out of you, and you want to give it to them, so
communication and relationships are important. The Fashion community is full of
amazing inspirational people and 99.9% of the time they’re lovely and just want
to get the job done.
‘So,
do you want to work at Vogue or something?’
Success
is not measured by whether you work at Conde Nast or not. What about all the
illustrators, stylists, photographers, graphic designers, social media experts,
co-ordinators, visual merchandisers, marketing specialists, editors, merchandisers, fashion
writers, allocators, copy writers, personal assistants… Do you think they’re
not successful because they don’t work at Vogue? Please. Just because someone
doesn’t work at one of the worlds most commercial fashion magazines it does not
mean that their title or job description is not any less worthy. It’s like me
saying if you work within sport why you aren’t a premiere league footballer-
there are so many alternative routes and avenues to be successful. If anything,
those who work within the fashion industry are in a better position as they can
fall into so many different occupation categories including E-Commerce, Finance, Buying, Production, Design, PR and Marketing to name a few.
‘Aren’t
people in Fashion, like, really stupid?’
Clearly
by getting into university (most
universities seek a high level of UCAS points to get in in the first place)
plus having both an imaginative creative and business mind-set makes us stupid.
Even if you don’t go to university (many don’t) you have to have the drive,
determination and the brain power to get where you want to go. Do you think
Phil Knight (co-founder of Nike) was stupid because took an interest in
sneakers and originally sold them out the boot of his car? Oh wait, the Nike
Empire took $20.9billion in 2011. I dare those of you who think we are stupid,
to say that to Anna Wintour or the badass Phil Knight.
‘Don’t
you just look at clothes all day?’
Garments
are the products that we design, promote, market and sell. So yes, the chances
are I will occasionally look at clothes… But only about 5% of the time. I also
look at excel spread sheets, graphs, large quantities of data, word documents,
books, reports and analytics to name a few. To say that we only look at
clothing is purely a stupidly uneducated assumption.
‘If
you work in Fashion you must obsessed with the scales and think food is
overrated’
Oh,
if only this were true. I'd be a lot trimmer that's for sure. My addiction to salt and vinegar crisps and strawberry
laces hasn’t subsided yet, so I think that ends that argument pretty pronto. And
hey, doesn’t everyone have days where they stand on the scale and think ‘oh
blimey, I’d better do something about that’? To say we’re obsessed with scales
and aren’t bothered about food is daft. If anything, we come armed with avocado and qunioa salads for lunch but end up having a
large brownie with a cuppa in the afternoon. Yes, models seen on the
catwalk are thin (I wont even attempt to argue this point, thats a whole other blog post!) but just like any
other employee in any other business, we’ve also got our secret sugar stash in
our desk.
Other stereotypical ideas are apparent but for now, my rant is
over. At the end of the day within every industry, every company or every small
business there will always be the one person who you think doesn’t pull their weight
or they have the tendency to be the work gossip. But just because I work in fashion
or someone you know creates a beautiful fashion blog etc, does not mean we have a smaller size
brain or live off half a cucumber everyday. The chances are that those
who think that we do, don’t know what they’re talking about. I guess it’s not our fault
we know how to dress better...!? #TeamSassy
Have you had any of
these sort of assumptions made about you before? Or know anyone that did? I
hope I’m not the only one!

Happy Tuesday my
lovelies!
I had the day off today so I’ve literally just spent it completely relaxing:
from a nice lie in this morning, a long bubble bath with a book earlier on, to
chilling in comfy clothes all day it’s been bliss.
While I was doing absolutely nothing today I thought I’d put together a little
post about my current skin care routine. When I was working in London just
before Christmas (and when I returned home) my skin was awful. I think going from a very rural clean environment to a big
city where there were lots of fumes and bacteria within the air really made my
skin break out and my skin in general had never felt so unhealthy. I had really
big problems with spots on my face that I hadn’t had before (some had popped up
on the side of my face I mean wtf!?) plus my skin in general just felt really
dry and dull. When I got home I decided to make a conscious effort to really
look after my skin and get it back on track. Don’t get me wrong I always will
have a slight blemish on my chin or T-Zone, my skin in general is really prone
to, but I cant even emphasise how much better it is. So, I thought I’d put
together a little post on some of the vital ingredients I’ve been using over the past two months
that have made my skin feel so much better and hopefully if you’re looking to
vamp up your skincare routine then I’ll give you a bit of inspiration to do so.
* Disclaimer * I don’t use all of these products seven days a week (I have oily skin so I don’t like to overdo it on products everyday) so I tend to do this entire routine once a week when I have a pamper session. I’ll write how often I use these products per week in the descriptions below.
Make-Up Removal
Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil (7 days a week) I won’t go on about this too much as I have written about this
previously on my Top Beauty Finds of 2015 but I’m still just as smitten with
this product. I use about four pumps (maximum!) of this product in total when
I remove all my makeup. By rubbing the oil all over my skin with my fingers I
can literally feel all of the days grime and dirt coming off when I continually
massage this in a circling motion on my skin. I apply this onto dry skin, rub
it for a good 2-3 minutes then wash off with a bit of gentle face soap. It
makes all my foundation, blush, highlighter and all the other makeup I put onto
my face come off easily and makes my skin appear fresh and clean. It is
slightly on the pricier side, but it really does what it says on the tin and I
haven’t found a gentler makeup remover to beat it.
Liz Earle Eye Bright Soothing Lotion (7 days a week) I actually got this product completely by accident, as it was a
freebie. My sister and I did a big Liz Earle shop a while back and this was one
of the free products we got when we spent a certain amount online. When I first
saw this product I honestly didn’t think it would be much good. However, as the
Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil is very gentle on the skin I find that this eye
lotion is great for getting just those last little bits of mascara or eyeliner
off that the Cleansing Oil missed. I put a little bit of this product on a
cotton pad and gently wipe my eyes- it is very gentle, soothing and leaves no
residue on the skin whatsoever. If I’m in a rush I’ll rub my eyes a couple of
times, but if I’m having a girly night in I’ll lie down and leave it on my eyes
for ten minutes and it does make your eyes feel fresher and awake. It really
does reduce puffiness within a few days and can be used both morning and night.
Exfoliating Masks and Treatments
Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask (Once a week)
This product may not be applicable for everyone as it is designed for more oily
skin, however being one of these people myself I love this facemask. This
product is made of highly concentrated ingredients like clay and manuka honey
to draw out impurities and excess oil on the skin to leave it balanced, calm
and clear. It’s naturally active elements like green clay and propolis with a
hint of rose-scented geranium help to tone and balance the skin to target
problem areas. It also comes with two sponges to help exfoliate it off the
skin. Admittedly, I’m not a massive fan of the scent itself- it does smell very
earthy (if that’s such a description!) and musky but whenever I put the mask on
I just know its doing wonderful things to my skin. It leaves it feeling fresh,
clean and smooth and it really does tackle the oily areas of my skin without
getting a breakout that I love.
Lush Angels on Bare Skin and NPW Exfoliating Pads (Everyday twice a day) Anybody who knows me will know that if I was only
allowed to buy one Lush product ever again it would always be Angels on Bare
Skin. I cannot sing this products’ praises enough. It is super gentle which
leaves my skin clean and nourished, it smells incredible plus it is so easy to
use. Pop a bit onto the back of your hand, add a little bit of water and it
forms into more of a paste which makes it easy to glide across the skin. Recently
I’ve been adding this onto my face but instead of using my fingers I’ve used
the Natural Products exfoliating pads. I’ve found these little pads have helped
me to exfoliate my skin so much better and by using in small circular motions
have made my face appear smoother and brighter. They are made of silicone so
after each use just wash them under cold water and they’re completely
reuseable- I got these from Urban Outfitters where they come in a pack of two
for £5.
Spot Treatments and Moisturising
Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins Moisturiser (Once a day) As mentioned I’ve got oily skin so moisturisers in general are
hard to find for me, as they’re often too rich for my skin. I’ve already
chatted to you about this on my Best Beauty Finds of 2015 post but I haven’t
found any better moisturisers since. I absolutely love the fresh orange scent
plus it makes my skin feel hydrated and nourished after use. I am actually
using this occasionally in the morning if I feel my skin needs a bit of a boost
but I tend to use this product primarily in evenings where it gives my face all
the skin repairing benefits without leaving that dreaded film of grease in the
morning. Pick up the Oil Free version if you’ve got oily skin like me otherwise
the regular version for all other skin types would work just as efficiently!
Grease Lightning Spot Treatment (When necessary) This is such an ideal product to keep in your makeup drawer/cupboard if you haven’t got any tea tree oil to hand or if your skin is prone to breakouts. This Spot Treatment from Lush is designed to be used before spots have appeared as it’s much more effective at preventing a breakout than curing it. It includes ingredients like antiseptic rosemary, anti-inflammatory green tea and tea tree oil so you know it’s doing the job. It’s cheap and cheerful and something that I always reach for when I see a spot appearing to keep it at bay.

Origins Starting Over Eye Cream (Everyday twice a day) Now I know what you’re all thinking. What is a 21-year-old doing with an anti aging eye cream? And the honest answer is that I felt previous ‘refreshing’ and ‘boosting’ eye creams just did not feel hydrating enough underneath my eyes. I previously used the Origins GinZing eye cream that was designed for refreshing and brightening the eyes and I genuinely felt as though it wasn’t doing anything whatsoever. So, I decided to try something a bit thicker in consistency and I found the Starting Over Eye Cream. The texture is a lot thicker than the GinZing eye cream but it doesn’t feel heavy or too rich. Admittedly I didn’t buy this product for the anti aging qualities so I haven’t seen any obvious improvement but it has helped to reduce puffiness and my under eyes feel a lot more hydrated. A little goes a long way so I definitely think I’ll be purchasing another one of these when it runs out.
Alongside mentioning my facial skincare
routine I thought I’d share what I’m also putting on the rest of my skin to
keep it silky smooth and hydrated.
Lush Ro’s Argan Oil Body Conditioner (Every Other Day) I’m still not over the Ro’s Argan hype yet- this is easily the best body lotion that Lush produce. I use this product just like I would shampoo in my hair: I massage it all into the skin and rinse it off just before I hop out the shower. It leaves my skin so hydrated without it feeling greasy plus its anti aging ingredients are also a bonus. I also use it to shave my legs in the shower and if I really feel like my skin needs a thick product to hydrate it I apply it onto dry skin and let it sink into the skin. The smell is amazing plus it always delivers so I can’t recommend it enough.

Lush Love and Light Handcream (Every
evening) In winter I find that the skin on my hands gets super dry and does
occasionally have the tendency to crack. I’m currently using the Love and Light
Handcream however I also love Nivea’s range of hand creams, as they are equally
as thick and hydrating. I have a pot of this product by Lush by my bed so I
lather on a layer of product before I go to sleep that has massively improved
the dryness on my hands. A big factor as to why I love the Love and Light
handcream is the scent- its brazillian orange and orange blossom ingredients
brighten my hands and boosts my mood in an instant.
Bio Oil (Three/Four times a week)
Anybody who knows me well knows that I always seem to fall over. Whether I’m in
heels for a night out where I seem to bail every single time or if I’m walking
on a completely flat surface in comfy trainers I always manage to slip and fall
on something. My best friend Molly introduced my to Bio Oil at university and
initially I didn’t think it would make any difference on the scars I’d acquired
from my appalling sense of balance, but the appearance of these war wounds has
definitely improved. Bio Oil is to be used on a wound/scar that has completely
healed (not on broken skin!) to help the healing process. While the product
doesn’t say it will completely remove the scar, it does make them appear a lot
less obvious and improve its appearance. I’ve lathered this product on for a
while now and I’ve seen a great improvement, plus I’ve also converted my dad to
Bio Oil after his hand surgery AKA if I can convert Papa Hughes with a product
almost anyone will use it. The bottle lasts for ages- I picked up this bottle
from Primark- and it’s a great product to keep in your beauty drawer whenever
you’ve taken a tumble and to incorporate into your skincare routine.
That’s all from me today folks! I hope
this has proved insightful for you if you’re looking to get some new skincare
goodies soon or if you merely wanted to know what I’m doing to my skin
recently! If there is anything to take away from this blog post remember the golden
rule for skincare: always take your make up off! As much as you can’t be bothered
to remove it all at night nobody wants to wake up with black crazy makeup like
Taylor Momsen in the morning…. Give your skin a treat and give it the best
routine it deserves, as whatever you put into your skin, it will definitely
give back.
What's your current skin care routine at the moment? Do you recommend any products that I should try?

Happy Valentines Day
you lovely lot!
Just
a quick one from me today as I’m sure you’re spending your day with loved ones
so I thought I’d share what I wore for last night as a bit of Valentines Day
Glam for you! It was my close friends birthday yesterday so we hit Bath for a
night out- it feels as though I hadn’t gone to pardddy for such a while now so
it was good to dress up a bit and let loose! I wanted to keep it reasonably
casual so I teamed my Joni Topshop Jeans with a body I recently picked up in
the Urban Outfitters sale, Zara faux fur jacket and bright orange clutch from
Zara to break up all the black.
The
look itself was super comfortable and I managed to last the entire night in
heels as the music was so good-
anybody who wants a great night out in Bath needs to visit Komedia for a night
of Motown music and a laugh with friends. So much fun and you will genuinely
not stop dancing the entire time.
In
terms of makeup last night I kept it really simple. For my base I used the
Origins Starting Over Eye Cream followed by the MAC Prep And Prime in Bright Forecast to eliminate any blue areas under my eyes then I used MAC Studio Fix Foundationin NW20 over the top. For cheeks I went for a more bronzed look using the BobbiBrown Bronzer Powder in Golden Light with a slight dusting of Bobbi Brown Peony Blush on the apples of my cheeks with the Watts Up Highlighter on the top of
my cheek bones to give a slight contoured effect. (If only I had the cheek bones of Cara Delevingne! Wah!) I went for the classic cat
eye flick using the Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner with Eyelure Lashes in 100 with
a bit of Bobbi Brown’s Champagne Quartz through the crease. I also used a
little bit of MAC’s Pigment Pot in Vanilla below my brows to give them a bit of
definition an shape. Finally, the main ingredient was the Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Watermelon. This
was an amazing colour that really popped against the black outfit and classic
eyeliner flick plus you can’t beat a red lip on Valentines Day. (Read all about
my favourite high street and luxury lipsticks here.)
As mentioned
previously, I hope you’ve had a wonderful day and have been spoilt rotten by your
loved ones. Spread the love and remember you will forever by my Valentines!
Sending lots of love and Happy Valentines Day my lovelies!

Valentines Day is fast approaching, you’ve got the
presents sorted, the table for dinner is booked, your ASOS parcel has arrived
and now it’s the next game: what am I doing to my face? Admittedly, I am all
about a red lip on Valentines Day (very original, Alex) however I’ve put
together a list of different lipsticks that would be perfect to wear for your
Valentines Day plans this weekend. Some of my friends are fans of luxury products;
some are fans of a high street lippy (I’m personally a fan of both) so I’ve compiled
a high street and high-end edit of my favourite lipstick shades to get you
looking sassy and on point this weekend. Team with a classic cat eye flick or brown smokey eye with one of these beautiful products and you're good to go.
The Classic Red
Cause sometimes when it comes to Valentines Day, you can't beat a hollywood red lip...
Rimmel Kate Lasting Lipstick in 001:
Rimmel is by far is one
of my favourite high street cosmetics companies and the Kate Moss collection
has been raved about since it launched back in 2001. Both of my Rimmel lipstick
staples are in this post but I’ve always had an endless love affair with the
shade 001. If you’re looking for that classic plump red pout that Parisians and
Hollywood Starlet’s wear look no further than this perfect shade. The colour
goes on super well after just one coat, my lips don’t ever feel dehydrated and
its under £6.00. I bought MAC Russian Red (although this one has a slightly more blue cool
tone) a while back to try and it didn't even compar to this lipstick
in terms of nourishing qualities and price. If you want to achieve a classic red look this Valentines, then this is definitely one to consider.
Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Colour in Watermelon: This was given to me as a
present from my wonderful girls at university and I absolutely adore the
colour. If you’re looking for a red shade that has more of a bright punch than
a classic red like the Rimmel 001 this is definitely the one for you. As the
name mentions, Watermelon has a slight orangey tint to the shade that overall create
a coral-y red tone. It looks beautiful with a golden tan in summer and adds a
bit more of a dynamic bright red to your average red lippy collection. Team it
with an all black outfit, classic cat eye flick and fluttery lashes to make the
colour really stand out.
The Vamp
Still not over the dark lip hype? Me neither.
MAC Lipstick in Diva: In general, Berry coloured lipsticks either have redder or plum tint and Diva is definitely more on the red side of the berry spectrum. If you’re looking to invest in a berry lipstick but you’re not sure if you could pull off a more purple lip this is a great lipstick to start with- despite being a deep colour you definitely see the red when its worn. All MAC lipsticks in general have great staying power, especially if you blot it two or three times when it is on, and I’ve had lots of compliments on this shade when I’ve worn it. This was definitely the colour I wore throughout the winter and festive months so if you’re after a red berry lip this is definitely worth a go. If you go to a MAC counter and they don’t have Diva available pick up Sin that is very similar in colour and the matching lipliner to perfect your pout is in Burgundy (you’re welcome!)
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 477 Black Cherry: The
Revlon’s Black Cherry lipstick compared to MAC’s Diva is more on the
plum/violet colour side of the berry lips look. I picked up this lipstick
recently in Boots from the Revlon counter as I had a voucher and I think it’s
such great shade that would look incredible all bundled up in thick scarves and
over the knee boots for this ‘it’s not quite spring’ season we’re currently in.
Admittedly, I don’t normally buy makeup from Revlon however this lipstick is
such a good high street dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s Glastonberry. Definitely
worth a try if you want to try a new berry plum shade and don’t want to spend a
fortune.
The Nude/Natural Flush Lip
Because we all know that when in doubt, we always reach for our staple nude...
Bobbi Brown Lip Colour in Tulle: This
was one of the first lipsticks I ever got from Bobbi and I still can’t get
enough of this shade. This was the initial colour that Kate Middleton was going
to wear for the royal wedding, until she chose a different Bobbi shade, so hey
if it’s good enough for the future Queen of England it’s most definitely good
enough for me! Bobbi Brown lipsticks are so moisturising on the lips, have
great lasting power plus they create an amazing colour after just one coat.
This shade compared to the Rimmel 008 is slightly pinker with a slight golden
sheen on the lip that gives them a nice natural pink flush. It’s a staple for
me when I don’t want to go overboard on my lip colour and will remain a firm
favourite.
Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in 008: As
I’ve already said, I love Rimmel lipsticks and this is another shade from the
Kate Moss collection in 008. Where Bobbi Brown Tulle gives more of a flushed
pink tone on the lips, I find that 008 is more of a pink brown giving it more
of an overall nude shade. The colour itself has a cool undertone compared to the Bobbi Tulle which appears more warm. I wear this colour nearly everyday to work as it
makes my lips look really glossy without being sticky, it goes with every
makeup style I’ve tried plus it comes in at under £6.00. This colour is matte- it
doesn’t have the more sheen sort of affect as Tulle does- but I think that’s
what makes it so wearable. I’ve probably got 3 of these lipsticks in different
handbags and it’s my go-to if I forget to pack a lippy or just want to give my
natural lip colour a bit of a boost.
The Brown Lip
Those 90's Kylie Jenner vibes still arent going anywhere just yet...
*
Yes, I’ve included Lip Liners for just the brown lipstick and not the others however
but you just can’t go all out 90’s style without a trusty line, right?
KIKO Lip Gloss Pencil in 11/Mauve Beige: I
hadn’t really shopped in KIKO before last year but they opened a store in Bath
and now I am completely hooked on their products. I don’t know how they create
such high quality, beautiful cosmetics on such a bargain price- the lipliner
and lip-gloss pencil comes in at under £9 for both. Yes the Lip Gloss Pencil isn’t
technically a lipstick but this is by far one of the best products I’ve picked
up from KIKO. The beautiful warm mauve shade nails that brown lip 90s vibe that
everyone is loving at the moment and team it with the Automatic Precision LipLiner in 504 Mauve and you’ve got another dreamy killer combo. The Lip-Gloss
Pencil doesn’t appear as glossy and gloopy as a regular lip gloss and I find
that layering the precision lip liner underneath really gives me that matte
coverage I love when I wear a brown lip. I’ve got these Lip Gloss Pencils in a
few other colours and I couldn’t recommend them enough in terms of coverage,
quality and price.
MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy: Some
things were born to be paired together like salt and pepper, strawberries and
cream, Beyonce and Jay Z and MAC Whirl and Velvet are a match made
dreamy in heaven. You can’t create a top list of lipsticks without mentioning
the killer combo that was made a phenomenon by Miss Jenner, made MAC a very
pretty penny and every beauty and fashion enthusiast probably owns. Yes MAC lipsticks
aren’t the most hydrating but the colour is fantastic, super pigmented, lasts
super well… and did I already mention the colour? If you’re offered the chance
to get a Velvet Teddy Lipstick and a Whirl Lipliner, it really is worth every
penny, even if it is just to Instagram it.
If
you’re sick of the lovey dovey related content I’m posting recently then all shall be
back to normal next week, I promise! Whatever you’re doing this weekend I hope
you have a wonderful time, whether its with your other half or a night with the
girls get glammed up with one of these lippies and make it the best Valentines
to date. Feel the love and I shall be sending all you readers an air hug from me.
Which lipstick would
you go for? What have you got planned for this weekend?
A x
